| Bass and harmony vocals: Chuck, the founder of Hung Jury was born in Georgia to Penacostle Evangelist parents. Started at an early age singing Gospel music at the Assembly of God Church in West Palm Beach, Fla.Moved to Williamsport, MD. At age 13, where he took up the tuba and sousaphone in school. And became part of the school band. For a while he played in school bands and sang in special choir at school as well as various church bands.In 1965 he began playing guitar. Then In 1968 Chuck joined the band "Expressions" in South Phila.In 1983, he joined Rhythm and blues band "six pack" also in South Phila.From there, he joined country band "Second Sun" in Delaware. Switched to bass guitar and joined Joey Durham's and "Running Free" Playing all original music in 1986. Joey had some radio airplay and now resides in Nashville.He Formed country band "Just Reward" in 1988. Played a lot of great clubs with a great group of musicians. Playing a lot of shows at Sunset Park----remember those days??In 1996, formed country band "Rt. 9 south and in 1997, country band 'Angel & Wildheart.Chuck formed country band "Hung Jury" in 2000. "I am very proud to be associated with the current members of Hung Jury as they are both excellent musicians and team players. My hope is that country music will thrive and Hung Jury can remain part of it." |
